A B O U T

I love landscape photography....rarely do we really see ALL
of a place. Content to focus on the large or grand parts of a scene, we often miss out on the many layers of beauty that landscapes hold. A landscape photograph, while never truly capturing the full beauty of nature, gives us the time to
study and absorb all aspects of the scene.

Flowers are another of my favorite subjects. Up close they
look so much different...they have complexities and
contoursthat we simply cannot see with the naked eye.
Even the plainest flower can be visually stunning when
viewed through the lens of a camera.

I was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Arizona and California. These places have strongly
influenced my love of the outdoors. I love the wide open lands, big skies and grand vistas of the
American west. I want to share these beautiful places with others who cannot go there in person.

Last year I finally moved back to Colorado with my husband. Every time I have driven into Colorado
in my life, I have had the sensation that I am “home.” Colorado has such a diversity of landscape
as well as animals and plants. I can’t imagine ever running out of photography subjects here.
